I live in Mo, so water is still a little cold. I was yo-yoing it off the bottom. I let it set a few seconds and he picked it up. I love the scuttle tails. I purchased the blue , the silver, and white. I also purchased the critterpede . I use it as a Ned rig. I like the way it floats up off the bottom. Makes it very enticing for the fish.

I like the action. I like the way it casts. I haven't done anything on it. Yes I've used them but haven't caught anything. About 20% of the time. The hook catches the line and flips making the cash useless. Not sure how to remedy this.

THE WEATHER WAS VERY BAD I LIKE THE WAY THE LUREWS PREFORM, I AM GOING TO LAKE SHASTA AND CLEAR LAKE WILL TRY THEM THERE AS WELL

Casted great feels great,caught some smallmouth bass on the gold. Only complaint is it gets twisted up often. But I do love the lures.

Lure came packaged and installation was straight forward and easy. I haven't used it yet but I previously made shape shifting lures for my self and my neighbor. It has proven to be one of the best until scutter tail. This lure just may beat the shape shifting with a stick. I will let you know when the weather improves.

Well, I have yet to cast it in open water yet but this is a winner. One problem with burning chatterbaits in clear water for smallmouth is that they miss the hook a lot. This has a treble hook so that problem is gone. I really like the fishhead design and the attention to detail of the head is great. Way more fancier than traditional bladed jigs. I have some of the heaviest sizes which should be ideal for bombing long cast for shallow bass in clear water or big pike. The skirt is full and puffs up right out of the package. Thundermist Lures really did well with this one.

Again, haven't used it yet - we still have ice on our lakes, but I am impressed with the quality of the components and the design. You ought to come to Oneida in late June through August and I'd be glad to show you how well your peanut bunker works on Oneida eyes.
