Largemouth bass and pike fishing with Peeper Frog top water lure

We're drifting over a vast weed flat, focusing on a specific point off the shoreline that we're hoping will be a magnet for the fish. The strategy involves frequent pauses in the retrieval of the lure, with its creamy white belly and realistic appearance proving tantalizing for the bass. We're also keeping our fingers crossed for any pike lurking in the area, as they're known to take a swipe at top water baits. It's a race against the rain, as we've got about an hour to catch our prize.
