Lake trout with bonus salmon

Today we're trolling crankbaits for Lake Trout on the Niagara Bar. It's the month of May, water temp is 49 degrees Fahrenheit. We're running the Silver Blue and Gold American Smelt. Why run two different colours? We always try to start with two different colours to see which colours produce more fish. Which colour of the American Smelt do you think performed the best?
