Casting Jigging Spoons for Perch
Today we're fishing for perch, though I'm using a different technique: I'm running a vertical jig, the Stingnose, but casting the lure instead of jigging it straight up and down.
This allows us to cover more ground and help entice the fish towards you. What you'll want to do is cast it out and jig it back towards you. When you get back to the boat, give a pause, and jig it a few times vertically before reeling in the jig.
