Blackened Shrimp Appetizers
How to cook blackened shrimp. This is one of my favourite ways to eat shrimp - and it makes a perfect appetizer. It's very easy and honestly, really quick. All you need is a hot cast iron pan, some shrimp (obviously), melted butter, and a spice of choice. I have a blackening spice I picked up in New Orleans, but you can use sweet paprika and some cayenne pepper. To get a proper blackened shrimp, make sure your cast iron pan is dry when you add the shrimp.
